Through layering self-portraits and nature motifs on top of one another, I explore the encounter between inner and outer worlds, between self-image and surroundings, between identity and landscape.
The result is images that move in the borderland between the dreamlike and the tangible, between introspection and loss of form – glimpses of something hidden, an inner world, or a fragment of another reality.
Behind the Looking Glass was exhibited in Geta library January 13th through February 12th 2026. It is scheduled to be exhibited in Galleriet in Mariehamn, in August 2026.
